We are SO excited to be accepting applications for our 2023 Senior Model Street Team. (the deadline to apply is February 18th, 2022) EXTENDED TO MARCH 4TH We have had a team of senior models for the past 21 years. Our street team has been a huge part of connecting amazing seniors, like yourself, with Texas Tradition Photography. And this year will be no different.
2023 is going to be incredible!!
What exactly is a Senior Modeling Street Team? Our street team is a select group of exceptional 2023 seniors who love to meet new people and be social. Our models love to be photographed and have great ideas that they bring to the team. Our street team keeps me up to date on what’s relevant to seniors. They are the face of my business.
When you say “meet new people and be social” what does that mean? Great question! Our team is made up of seniors from various high schools around the North Dallas area. After multiple shoots and parties, you will become friends with your fellow models. You will have a blast sharing stories and experiences both in person and on social media.
Is there a fee? Yes, the fee is $175. This is our normal senior session fee. However, as a model, you will receive at least four modeling opportunities and lots of extra goodies in additional to your senior portrait session. We treat our models with extra special sweetness. And did I mention that you will have the opportunity to earn this money (and more) back?
Can you elaborate on the “Extra goodies”? Yes, you will have the opportunity to win additional prizes, cash, gift cards, photo shoots and more throughout the year as additional incentives. Plus you will have Fresh digital images to share for your entire senior year.
This program is designed for 2023 high school seniors that want to be a part of the BEST senior experience in the North Dallas area. Candidates do not have to look like a model or even want to be a model. But you do have to have a great personality, be willing to try new things and brag about us every now and then.
Here is the scoop
Our Street Team is required to:
Attend a high school within the North Dallas area and be graduating in 2023
Attend ONE meet and greet meeting with a parent (these will be via zoom this year) Feb 7,8,9,10,15 or 16th at 6:30pm EXTENDED TO THE WEEK OF 3-7-22
Attend a headshot shoot so I can introduce you as a member of our street team.
Attend ONE mini session/pizza party shoot (two to choose from) March 19th or 20th.
Use Texas Tradition Photography as your sole photographer during your senior year
Post on social media frequently about Texas Tradition Photography and follow us and interact with us on FB,IG and TikTok.

When it comes to Senior Portraits, we know what we are talking about. How can I say that with such confidence? Because I listen! I listen to what my past seniors tell me, I listen to what my current seniors tell me, and I’m going to listen to what YOU tell me.
Your senior portraits are going to be AMAZING. So, start thinking about what that means to you. Will they be taken inside the studio surrounded by all of your pointe shoes? Will they be outside in a pasture… in front of some city buildings… on a football field with bleachers and a scoreboard in the background… with your favorite pet pig? Okay, that’s a lot to think about, but we can brain storm and come up with what AMAZING senior portraits look like to YOU. Together we’ve got this!

I get asked this question all the time! And it’s a GREAT question. And this is a great time to discuss this since family portrait season is HERE! What am I saying? Family portrait season HAS ALREADY STARTED!! A great family portrait begins with a great family portrait session. And the way to achieve that, is to start planning RIGHT NOW! So, before you go any further, give us a call and get on our calendar for either our Portrait in the Park Event or our Home for the Holiday Event. Details for both of these events are below
First, think about where you plan to hang your portrait. Will it be in your relaxed family or game room? Or will it be in a more formal room? That will help us set the style. Going formal or casual in your dress, will depend on where the portraits will hang and what style you prefer. After that, choose a color pallet that will go with, or compliment that room.
Now, let’s say you have no idea where your portraits will hang. No problem! Just choose colors that look good on your family and will stand the test of time. To start, you might have a great dress or shirt that you LOVE and want to wear for the portrait. Great, let’s call this our inspiration piece. An inspiration piece will give you a place to start. Pull out a couple of colors from your inspiration piece and have everyone wear those colors. Let’s say you LOVE blue. Everyone can wear jeans and a different shade of blue for their top. Or have the grown ups wear similar dark blue tops and the kids wear different shades of blue. Don’t be afraid of prints or to add a third color to your pallet. Be creative and add a little bit of your personality to spice things up.

For those of you new to our annual Portraits in the Park Event, here is a quick overview. October and November are usually beautiful months to schedule a family portrait for a couple of reasons. First, the weather is a little cooler and second the portraits will be ready just in time for holiday gift giving. Plus your new wall portrait can be hanging for all of your holiday gatherings.
Why are we able to offer such a great session fee? Well, there are WAY more of YOU than there are of ME. So, I choose a park and schedule families one after the other on the same day and it works out for everyone. I’m able to get in a “groove” and not spend so much time driving from place to place. It’s a win/win. You get a better price and I get a better schedule.
If you have something different in mind, we still do regular portrait session during the holidays, just not on Portraits in the Park days. I LOVE creative ideas, give me a call and we can chat about it.
